UUP Leader to Open Young Unionist Meeting
30 April 2012
The recently elected new leader of the Ulster Unionist Party, Mike Nesbitt will be in Omagh on Saturday 5th May to launch the West Tyrone branch of the Young Unionists.
Mr Nesbitt brings with him a new vision for the Party along with the hope of revitalisation and the attraction of new members. Mr. Nesbitt greatly values the views of young people and for this reason wanted to come down personally and speak at the inaugural meeting of the Young Unionists West Tyrone branch.
The meeting is aimed at anyone under the age of 30 and you do not need to be a member to attend. Those with an interest in the unionist ethos and who would like to become more involved in shaping the future of Unionism are most welcome.
West Tyrone UUP MLA Ross Hussey, will also be in attendance at the event, and has provided the use of his offices at 64 Market Street for the meeting, which will commence at 7.00pm. Refreshments will be available.
